I think Jennifer Lopez did pretty well acting wise in this movie. There were a few parts that I felt Jennifer Lopez could have conveyed better, but overall I think it was a good movie to watch once for me.
The movie is packed with lively action scenes and stimulating combat scenes. There were a good amount of parts that were predictable though plus a handful of scenes that were illogical, and the character of the daughter was not my favorite. I think the daughter, Lucy Paez, was a good actress, but there were some parts script wise that were not impressive. I enjoy Omari Hardwick as an actor since his part in Nobody’s Fool (2018), so seeing him here was fun to be able to see him again and I really enjoyed his character and dynamic with Jennifer Lopez. Also, I enjoyed seeing Gael Garcia Bernal in this movie as well, after seeing him in Old (2021), it was refreshing to see him again and this time in a new and different part. I thought the plot was different and interesting and the action scenes are pretty good making the movie entertaining to watch and wanting to see what happens next!
