In honor of today being Password Day, I am listing 5 movies that once you watch it, you will definitely want to change your password ! Enjoy! 🙂

  1. Ratter (2015) directed by Branden Kramer

This thriller drama follows Emma, (Ashley Benson) a graduate student living alone in New York City, as she is being watched by a stalker on all of her technological devices. This movie is shot just from electronic devices like a phone, laptop, etc. The beginning is a little slow, but the concept itself is one that is pretty frightening and will make you paranoid about your electronics after watching. It is ominous given the plot, but it is also a surprisingly realistic and scary story.

#2. Heartthrob (2017) directed by Chris Siverston

A thriller romance that follows Sam, (Aubrey Peeples) a troubled high school girl, who falls for Henry (Keir Gilchrist), high school valedictorian and MIT bound. Soon enough, Henry is in the grip of an insane romantic obsession, and he will hurt anyone who tries to put an end to their romance. This movie portrays this dark love story that shows the dangerous side of jealousy in relationships with an undertone of a bizarre ambience.

#3. The Invisible Man (2020) directed by Leigh Whannell

A horror thriller that follows a crazed scientist that uses his power to become invisible to stalk and terrorize his ex girlfriend (Elisabeth Moss). When the police refuse to believe her story, she decides to take matter into her own hands and fight back. This movie had amazing cinematography and really great acting. This movie can definitely make you paranoid in real life! It has an equal balance of suspense and style, making it a really excellent thriller.

#4. Nerve (2016) directed by Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost

A thriller action that follows Vee (Emma Roberts) as she joins Nerve a popular online game that challenges players to accept a series of dares. It is not long before the competition requires her to perform increasingly dangerous stunts. When Nerve begins to take a sinister turn, Vee finds herself in a high-stakes finale that will ultimately determine her entire future. It is a very visually satisfying movie with its bright color palette with an intense story and a modern sense of the current online world.

#5. 13 Cameras (2015) directed by Victor Zarcoff

A horror drama that follows a newlywed couple that moves into their martial home, which should be a place of love and happiness. However, they have no idea that their grim landlord has been spying on them since they moved in. It is definitely a creepy and unsettling movie that makes you want to check your own house for cameras!

sorry, it’s nothing personal but I won’t watch any of those movies because of the violence. Password Day? Never heard of it! ☺️

Hi John! That is completely understandable! The Invisible Man and Nerve do lean more towards action and suspense. Both movies have a handful of scenes of more aggression. Not to give too much away, but the other 3 are pretty violent and I feel CREEPY! 🙂
